On Sunday, September 10, 2023, in recognition of the Fair Trading Commission’s (FTC) 30th Anniversary, the FTC worshipped with the Providence Methodist Church, led by Reverend Dr. George Mulrain.
Among the congregation was Senator the Honorable Aubyn Hill, Minister of Industry, Investment & Commerce, Mr. Donovan White, Chairman of the FTC, Dr. Peter-John Gordon, former Chairman of the FTC, Mrs. Donna Parchment-Brown, former Commissioner of the FTC, Mr. Justice Seymour Panton, the FTC’s Staff, colleagues from several agencies of the Ministry of Industry Investment & Commerce, and members of the Providence Methodist Church.
Mr. David Miller brought Greetings from the FTC, and the Honorable Minister read the first lesson from Psalm 100.
Reverend Dr. Mulrain offered a special prayer for the FTC and the Staff, rejoicing that the congregation, “can celebrate with the Fair Trading Commission 30 years of existence and service to Jamaica. We are thankful for the noble Christian aims and ideals that undergird its operation. … and as we intercede for furthering the work of the Fair Trading Commission, may Jamaica receive continued guidance that will materialize in beneficial ways within the economy, businesses and sphere of activities.”
