The Technical Staff of the Fair Trading Commission attended the annual International Competition Network (ICN) Conference that was held virtually during September 14 – 17, 2020. The Conference had six sessions (i) Advocacy working group; (ii) Agency effectiveness working group; (iii) Merger working group; (iv) Unilateral conduct working group; (v) Cartel working group; and (vi) Chief economist session. Each session was attended by at least two representatives from the FTC.
The ICN comprises 140 competition agencies from 129 jurisdictions and member agencies meet at the Conference to discuss topical competition issues which impact on most jurisdictions.
