On May 31, 2016, the Fair Trading Commission facilitated the hosting of a Level one training seminar on Competition Law and Policy. The seminar was hosted by the Forum of the Caribbean Group of African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) States (CARIFORUM) with funding from the European Union (EU). It was held at the Mona Visitors Lodge and some areas covered were Institutional Arrangements for Competition Law Enforcement in CARICOM, Competition and Trade Agreements and Competition Culture in CARICOM. A total of 62 persons participated including representatives of the business community, several Government Ministries and Agencies, the media and academia.
